My Grandma’s State Quarters

I was cleaning out the cupboards, and came across a pill box full of quarters.  My grandmother had been collecting state quarters, and passed away in May 2007 before she could collect all 50.  She got to 20, and I’m going to finish what she started and collect 50 states for her.  I’m going to put scans of the quarters up on my Travel Log, and I’m going to paste the actual quarters into the pages of my altered book I plan on making about my travels.  I’m going to write a little forward in the book about the quarters dedicated to her.

Freebie Jeebies!

ScummVM has done it again!  This graphic adventure game suite now includes support for the Spanish adventure game Drascula: The Vampire Strikes Back.  But even better, the game’s creators, Alcachofa Soft, have released the full game for free legal download!  The English version with full voice-overs and subtitles is available for download, along with an international version that has Italian, French and German subtitles along with the original Spanish.

I’ve never even heard of this game before, but I hadn’t heard of Revolution before they released Beneath a Steel Sky for free legal download with ScummVM much like Alcachofa Soft has done with Drascula.  Now I’m a huge Revolution fan!  So, I’m pretty excited about this download.
